LAKELAND, Fla. Air Max 2015 White And Black . -- The Detroit Tigers agreed to terms Monday with seven players on contracts for the 2014 season. Detroit announced agreements with right-handers Jose Ortega, Luke Putkonen and Evan Reed, left-handers Kyle Lobstein and Drew Smyly, infielder Nick Castellanos and outfielder Steven Moya. Smyly is expected to move into the rotation after an impressive 2013 showing in the bullpen. Castellanos has been considered one of the organizations top prospects and will likely play third base this year in the majors. The Tigers now have 32 players on the clubs 40-man roster under contract for 2014. Nike Roshe Run Mens Blue . -- The Erie Otters won their eighth straight game with a four-goal outburst in the third en route to an 8-4 win over the Sarnia Sting in Ontario Hockey League play Saturday. Nike Roshe Run NM BR . On a 96-degree day, Los Angeles 2-3-4 hitters -- Mike Trout, Albert Pujols and Josh Hamilton -- combined to go 7 for 13 with six runs batted in and two scored in the Angels 10-7 win over Texas on Sunday.CHICAGO -- Both the Chicago Bulls and the Minnesota Timberwolves were missing their starting centres. The Timberwolves were able to overcome the adversity. Kevin Love scored 31 points to lead the Timberwolves over the Bulls 95-86 Monday night. Ronny Turiaf added 14 points for the Timberwolves, who snapped a seven-game losing streak to the Bulls and won for the fourth time in five games overall. Timberwolves centre Nikola Pekovic exited with a sore right Achilles tendon midway through the first quarter. Turiaf, who was averaging 2.3 points, scored a season high in his absence. "He stepped up when Pekovic went out, and he brings a lot," Timberwolves guard Ricky Rubio said. "He brought everything he had." The Bulls were also without their starting centre. Joakim Noah was sent home before the game due to an illness. Kirk Hinrich (strained right hamstring) missed his fourth straight game. "They had some people out too, but we knew it was going to be a physical game," Timberwolves coach Rick Adelman said. "We knew how they were going to play, and I thought we responded pretty well." Carlos Boozer had 20 points and 14 rebounds, and D.J. Augustin added 19 points for the Bulls. Pekovic, who was averaging 18.4 points and 9.3 rebounds, said he hopes his injury is not serious. The injury has been bothering Pekovic during the teams road trip, Adelman said. Pekovic had one point and one rebound in 6 minutes. In Pekovics absence, Turiaf grabbed seven rebounds and had his highest-scoring game since he scored 19 points on Jan. 11, 2011, for the New York Knicks against the Portland Trailblazers. "My goal this year, regardless of the situation, is just to go out there and have some fun," Turiaf said. "No matter how much or how little I play, I just want to have fun." The Bulls pulled within five with 1:29 left on Augustins 3-pointer but got no closer. Love answered with a layup with 1:10 remaining, and Corey Brewers dunk gave the Timberwolves ann 88-79 lead with 57. Air Max Zero For Sale. 4 seconds left. The Timberwolves improved to 2-11 on the road when scoring fewer than 109 points. Minnesota shot 46.6 per cent compared to the Bulls 37.6 per cent. "We need that," Love said. "We communicated really well and we definitely contested a lot of shots." Chicago had won four of five and is 10-4 in January. Chase Budinger added 12 points off the bench for Minnesota, and Brewer had 11. Jimmy Butler scored 16 points, and Mike Dunleavy and Taj Gibson each had 10 for the Bulls. Gibson started at centre in place of Noah and had eight points and seven rebounds at halftime before running into foul trouble in the second half. "Hes an All-Star. Youre going to feel it," Gibson said about the Bulls missing Noah. "He was playing real phenomenal. Hes one of the vocal leaders, rebounding, playing defence, controlling the offensive end and making plays for guys. "We got to keep pushing forward." The Timberwolves went cold in the third quarter as the Bulls outscored them 19-18 and pulled within five. Minnesota had one field goal in the final 7:38 of the period -- Budingers dunk with 34.9 seconds left. The Wolves led 72-65 heading into the fourth. The Bulls had won by an average of 13.3 points during their seven-game winning streak against the Timberwolves. Minnesota last won in Chicago on Jan. 3, 2009. "When you lose a guy like Jo your margin for error is smaller," Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said about Noah. "We can get it done. Youve got to give Minnesota credit. Theyre playing real well right now. We can never lose sight of how hard we have to play. We cant play hard for 32 minutes. We have to play hard the whole game." NOTES: The Timberwolves ranked second in the NBA in scoring at 106.8 points per game coming in. The Bulls were holding opponents to 92.9 points per game, second in the league. ... It was the first of two meetings between the teams this season. uarter after Youngs ejection

OAKLAND, Calif. Kyrie Irving Autographed Jersey . -- With one eye on the defence and the other on the clock, LeBron James let the time tick down before carrying the Miami Heat into the All-Star break in a way only he could. James capped one of his best games of the season in dramatic fashion, making a step-back 3-pointer with less than a second remaining to propel the Heat past the Golden State Warriors 111-110 Wednesday night and into the break on a high note. "I was going for the win the whole time," James said. With teammate Dwyane Wade scratched from the lineup with a nerve irritation in his left foot, James shouldered the load for the two-time defending NBA champions. He finished with 36 points, 13 rebounds and nine assists, saving his best moment for last. After James fellow All-Star Stephen Curry hit a bank shot to start a three-point play that put the Warriors ahead by two, Heat coach Erik Spoelstra chose not to call timeout. Instead, James got the ball in the half court and swished a 27-footer over Andre Iguodala with two-tenths of a second left. James stared into the stands, then patted his chest and high-stepped on the sideline, leaving the announced sellout crowd of 19,596 stunned and silent. "Better offence," James said, "beats better defence every time." James shot 14 of 26 from the floor, including several dazzling dunks, to help the Heat go ahead by 21 points in the third quarter. Chris Bosh added 19 points and five rebounds, and reserve Michael Beasley scored 16 points in a thrilling victory for Miami, which won without Wade for the second straight night. The Heat (37-14) head into the break 2 1/2 games behind Indiana (40-12) in the Eastern Conference. "I just told them in the locker room that if I had realized he was going to work that thing all the way down to the end of the clock, I would have ran out there and screamed timeout," Spoelstra said. "I tried to design something but once he started to wind it up I decided I better not break his rhythm and let a great player make a great play, make or miss, and thats what he did." Curry finished with 29 points and seven assists, and David Lee had 21 points and 11 rebounds for the Warriors (31-22), who rallied to take an 87-84 lead early in the fourth quarter before the teams traded baskets late. Golden State, which beat the Heat in Miami earlier this season, had no answer for the four-time NBA MVP this time. "That was like the ultimate buzz kill," Curry told teammates in the Warriors locker room. He could later be heard shouting "Wow!" from the showers. The biggest stars for both teams providing a fantastic finish. Iguodala lost the ball before gathering himself for a desperation, 18-foot fadeway with the shot clock about to expire, giving the Warriors a 105-104 lead. James answered with a 3-pointer over Klay Thompson, then Curry came back with a short jumper to tie the score again, and James followed by splitting a pair of free throws. As Lee came over to set a screen to his left, Curry drove to his right and banked a short jumper off the glass while getting fouled by Mario Chalmers to start a three-point play with 14.6 seconds to play, lifting the Warriors ahead 110-108 -- and seemingly for good. James quickly changed that. He dribbled just in front of Warriors co-owner Joe Lacob sitting courtside and hit the contested 3-pointer over Iguodala, breaking into celebration to put the exclamation point on Miamis win. The Warriors didnt have enough time to get a shot off on the final possession. The shot capped a breathtaking performance by James when the Heat needed it most. Wade also sat out Miamis win Tuesday night at Phoenix with a migraine headache. He was listed at his usual shooting guard spot and announced during pregame introductions, but seconds before tipoff the Heat said he would not play. Wade said hes not sure if hell be able to play in Sundays All-Star game in New Orleans. The Warriors, who were coming off a 123-80 rout of Philadelphia on Monday, were without centres Andrew Bogut (bruised left shoulder) and Jermaine ONeal (sore right wrist). Any time Golden State started to take control, though, there was no lineup that could stop James. "We witnessed greatness," Warriors coach Mark Jackson said. "A special player, an all-time great, made a big-time shot." NOTES: Some sort of glass object fell on the floor near the Heats basket in the third quarter. It was unclear what the object was, though several players were looking up at a disco ball that hangs from the rafters. Played resume after a short timeout. ... Heat F Shane Battier received five stitches over his left eye in the first half before returning to the game. ... The Heats next game is at Dallas on Tuesday, while the Warriors dont play again until Wednesday at Sacramento. LeBron James Grey Jersey . "When things get switched up," he said, "its usually because youre losing so you never want to see those line changes made. Tyrone Hill Cavaliers Jersey . Phillies manager Ryne Sandberg challenged him, and that was enough. Asche hit a two-run homer in the eighth inning to tie the game and then started the decisive rally with a double to open the 10th as Philadelphia rallied to beat the San Francisco Giants 5-3 on Friday night.PHOENIX -- Gerald Green was in a generous mood after his best game of the season. Green had a strong second half to finish with a season-high 28 points and lead the Phoenix Suns in a 121-114 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday night. Green then pledged to pay any fine the NBA might hand down to rookie teammate Alex Len, who was ejected after a flagrant foul following an altercation involving the Lakers Nick Young in the second quarter. "Hope the NBA doesnt do anything, but if it does, Ill take care of it," Green said. Green was careful with his shooting, shying away for 3-point attempts and finishing 12 for 18 from the field. "I felt like I wasnt settling for my jumper," Green said. "Coach is still telling to shoot the ball so Im going to continue to do that. I just tried not to take as many 3s as I normally do." Channing Frye had 10 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter and Markieff Morris scored 17 of his 24 in the first half to help the Suns snap a three-game skid. Goran Dragic added 18 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists. Pau Gasol scored 24 points to lead the Lakers and Wesley Johnson had 22 against his former team. Los Angeles, already short-handed with five players -- including star Kobe Bryant -- out with injuries, lost leading-scorer Young midway through the second quarter when he was ejected for throwing a punch at Dragic. After being hit in the face by Len going up for a layup, Young retaliated by shoving Len and then swinging at Dragics face while being pushed away from the fray. Len was tossed and the Suns Marcus Morris was issued a technical foul for his role in the fracas. Young, who had nine points at the time, took off his jersey and tossed his undershirt into the crowd on his way to the locker room. "I just reacted and got caught up in the moment. Like anyone would have," Young said. "It was a tough foul." Young expressed his displeasure with his teammates for not coming to his defence after the Lakers lost for the sixth straight time. Young could face a suspension for his actions and leave the Lakers in more dire straits. "What Im mad about is it was 1-on-5," Young said. "I felt like if someone would have gotten in the middle of everything it wouldnt have escalated as muuch. Richard Jefferson Jersey. I felt bad for Dragic. He was right there. I didnt throw (a) punch. I was trying to shove people out of my way. I was getting pushed further back. It was more trying to get out." The Lakers led by 13 points in the second quarter after Youngs ejection. A 3-pointer from the top of the key by Kendall Marshall gave the Lakers a 56-43 lead. The Suns finished the quarter on an 11-2 run, topped off by P.J. Tuckers layup at the halftime buzzer to cut the Lakers lead to 58-54. The Suns led by eight in the first quarter, but the Lakers scored the last nine points of the period to take a 27-26 lead into the second. Back-to-back baskets by Chris Kaman put Los Angeles ahead. Green scored 16 of his points in the third quarter, and his block of Gasols layup attempt started a fast-break resulted in a basket by Dragic that put the Suns ahead 72-70. Greens step-back 20-foot jumper gave the Suns a 79-74 lead with 4:09 left in the third. His chest-pass assist for Fryes dunk made it 86-79 for Phoenix with 55 seconds left. "We started attacking the rim," Frye said. "We need to be aggressive, take advantage of mismatches and get out and run." The Lakers tied the score at 91 with Johnsons 3-pointer at the 9:53 mark of the fourth quarter. But back-to-back layups from Suns reserve Ish Smith made it 102-93, and the Suns were never seriously threatened the rest of the way. "Were not winning and again, we gave up 30-some (37) in transition and about 60 or 70 (64) in the paint, and thats where its been the last five or six games," Lakers coach Mike DAntoni said. "Weve got to be able to solve that problem somehow." NOTES: The Suns are a win away from their first regular season sweep of the Lakers since the 2004-2005 season. ... Suns G Leandro Barbosa hurt his right shoulder late in the loss at New York on Monday, according to Phoenix coach Jeff Hornacek. Barbosa did not play Wednesday but Hornacek hopes to have him available Friday against Dallas. ... Hornacek was issued a technical foul in the second quarter after arguing a non-call. ... With three point guards out, the Lakers went with former Suns first-round draft pick Marshall as the starter. Marshall, the 13th overall pick of the 2012 NBA draft for Phoenix, finished with 10 points and 13 assists. Cheap Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys Cheap Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap Jerseys China Wholesale Jerseys ' ' '

when Brazil centre half Thiago Silva lunged in

PARIS -- Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho called his teams defending "a joke" after Paris Saint-Germain scored deep into injury time Wednesday to take a commanding 3-1 lead into their Champions League quarterfinal return leg next week. http://www.sharkshockeyshop.us/Ben-Smith-Jersey/ . A second straight defeat has turned the pressure back on Mourinhos Chelsea side, with big-spending PSG now favoured to reach the last four in the European Cup for the first time since 1995 and Liverpool grabbing the impetus in the Premier League. "When the games are tight and when you make the defensive mistakes, you are in trouble," Mourinho said. "We couldnt transform these half chances into goals and on top of that we made defensive mistakes, the kind of individual defensive mistakes, and we paid the price." PSG substitute Javier Pastore capped the win with a brilliant goal in stoppage time. The Argentina playmaker gathered the ball on the right wing, cut inside and then jinked his way through the penalty area before planting a low shot inside goalkeeper Petr Cechs near post. "It was a horrible time to concede," centre half Gary Cahill told British broadcaster Sky Sports. "Its a sloppy goal and unlike us. It was difficult to come here; 2-1 would have been okay to take to Stamford Bridge. Its devastating." Mourinho was more scathing. "He (Cahill) says sloppy. I say ridiculous," later adding. "Its not a goal, its a joke." He also criticized his forwards, with neither Andre Schuerrle or his replacement, Fernando Torres, making any impression in the absence of the injured Samuel Etoo. "Its difficult for us to score goals," Mourinho said. "Im not happy with my strikers performances and I have to try things (for the return leg)." Chelsea did well to contain Zlatan Ibrahimovic, PSGs top scorer with more than 40 goals this season. But Jose Mourinhos team was undone by lapses from captain John Terry and midfielder David Luiz, who gave the ball away leading up to the opening goal. It came after only four minutes when Ezequiel Lavezzi twisted to sweep the ball home after Terrys poor headed clearance. Eden Hazard equalized from the penalty spot midway through the first half, only for PSG to take the lead again in the 61st as Luiz shinned the ball into his own net. Chelsea won the competition two years ago, although Mourinho was not in charge, getting past Napoli despite losing their quarterfinal first leg 3-1. "I have nothing to lose now, I have to play thinking that it is possible," Mourinho said. "To be fair, I dont think Paris think that its done." PSG coach Laurent Blanc was full of praise for his players. "We really believed we could do it tonight, and we pushed Chelsea around at times," he said. "The third goal changes things. We cant say tonight how much it changes things. The match at Stamford Bridge will be difficult." There was some bad news on the night for PSG, however, with Ibrahimovic limping off midway through the second half with a hamstring injury. "He will probably be out for a while," Blanc said. "I hope hell be back as soon as possible." In Wednesdays other quarterfinal first leg, Real Madrid beat last seasons finalist Borussia Dortmund 3-0 in Spain. PSG started aggressively and scored when Terry failed to deal properly with Blaise Matuidis cross and his header fell to Lavezzi some 15 metres out. The Argentina winger swiveled brilliantly before planting the ball into the top left corner for his 10th goal of the season. Chelsea struggled to deal with PSGs speed on the break, and midfielder Ramires was shown a yellow card after hacking down Lavezzi as he turned away from him near the halfway line. Ramires misses the return leg next week. Lavezzi caused Cahill constant problems with his pace. Midway through the half, Lavezzi got away from him down the left but his shot hit the side of the net. Chelsea equalized against the run of play in the 27th minute when Brazil centre half Thiago Silva lunged in a fraction too late and clipped midfielder Oscars leg. It was surprisingly rash judgment from Silva, the Brazil captain, who is considered one of the best defenders in the world. With the jeers from the Parc des Princes crowd ringing in his ears, ice-cool Hazard sent goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu guessing the wrong way. Lavezzi had another effort saved by Cech, but the home side nearly fell behind in the 40th minute when Hazards brilliantly controlled volley from wide left hit the right post. Lavezzi outshone Ibrahimovic and his looping free kick caused panic in the Chelsea defence and Luiz clumsily knocked the ball over the line. Worse was still to come for a ramshackle Chelsea defence that will need a vast improvement to stop PSG scoring an away goal next week that would surely put the tie beyond the Blues reach. Tomas Hertl Sharks Jersey . I just kept being aggressive and kept gettingg

HOYLAKE, England -- U. Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 Uomo/Donne Oxford Tan AQ2661 Scarpe .S. captain Tom Watson had been looking forward to seeing Tiger Woods at the British Open to "tell him my feelings about him direct" about the Ryder Cup. On second thought, theres not much to say. "Not a whole lot, probably," Watson said Monday. "Again, its performance. I could ask Tiger, How are you feeling? How are you feeling like youre hitting the ball? Are you hitting it well? And that doesnt mean anything, really. The performance means something. Ill be watching Tiger and I want him on the team -- I do. Hes a tough competitor and hes great in the team room. Wouldnt you want him on your team?" Woods has three tournaments to give Watson an indication of his game. The 14-time major champion was out for three months because of back surgery, and he wasnt playing well in the months leading to the March 31 operation as his back pain became more evident. Woods is No. 72 in the Ryder Cup standings with only five weeks remaining to earn one of nine spots. He is a long shot to make the team, though a victory at Royal Liverpool -- or the PGA Championship -- would do the trick. Watson repeated the two factors that matter to him -- the game and the health of Woods. And he was careful not to speculate what would happen if Woods failed to get into the FedEx Cup playoffs for the top 125. Woods is at No. 212 with three tournaments remaining. "If hes playing well and hes healthy, Ill pick him," Watson said. "But then the caveat is if he doesnt get into the FedEx Cup. What to do then? And thats the question I cant answer right now." Woods has the Bridgestone Invitational at Firestone ($9 million purse) and the PGA Championship ($10 million purse, with points doubled) before the Ryder Cup qualifying period ends. Watson will make his three picks after the second FedEx Cup event. "I cant speculate how hes going to be playing through the PGA," Watson said. "I hope that hes playing well enough where he gets in the FedEx Cup and plays a few tournaments in the FedEx Cup. Thats my sincere hope, that he plays well. And I suspect hell be there." Woods won at Royal Liverpool in 2006. He returns to a course that is green and lush, a sharp difference from last time when it was brown and fast. He played 12 holes Saturday and 18 holes Sunday, and was not at the course for much of Monday. He has said his intention is to win this week, having returned three weeks ago at Congressional with plenty of rust in his short game. Woods missed the cut. Watson likes the way Woods is thinking, and hopes every player in the field has the same intention. "Just put it this way: I wouldnt write off Tiger Woods for a long time the way he plays the game," Watson said. "Hes a tough competitor. He knows how to swing the golf club. And yes, hes had some injuries and other things -- issues. But the thing is, hes had a long career. And I fully expect it to be a longer career." Woods has made every Ryder Cup team since he turned pro except for 2010, when he was returning from a scandal in his private life that led to divorce. Corey Pavin picked up for the team at Wales. Woods won three of his four matches for his best individual record in any Ryder Cup. Nike Air Max 90 - Militare Blu/Bianche - Donne . -- Michael Phelps has competed in the second event of his comeback and failed to advance to the 50-meter freestyle final.Nike Air Max 90 Nere .coms Ariel Helwani. Poor shooting cost the Cleveland Cavaliers in a game they desperately needed. Mike Scott ended a scoring slump with 26 points and the Hawks beat Cleveland 117-98 on Friday night in a costly setback for the Cavaliers late-season playoff push. Atlanta moved one game ahead of the New York Knicks, who lost to Washington 90-89, in the race for the eighth playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. The Hawks had lost seven of eight but recovered with strong games by Scott and Jeff Teague, who had 20 points and 12 assists. "All year and under a lot of difference circumstances weve said we like our group and theyre resilient," Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer said. "They played with a lot of focus and effort and attention to detail and all the things we really talk about every night." Cavaliers coach Mike Brown was unhappy to see his team struggle with so much on the line. "They kicked our behind from the beginning to the end," Brown said. The Cavaliers lost an opportunity to move within a game of eighth place. Entering the game, Cleveland had won five of six but fell three games behind the Hawks with only five games remaining in the regular season. Brown was discouraged but stopped short of saying the Cavaliers couldnt recover from the loss. "No, it doesnt feel like its over but the loss is very, very disappointing," Brown said. "The way we lost it looked like we werent playing for much out there." Dion Waiters led Cleveland with 23 points. Spencer Hawes had 16 points and 10 rebounds and Kyrie Irving and Luol Deng each had 13 points. Scott made 12 of 13 shots from the field. The backup forward had a combined 16 points in his past four games. He topped that with 18 in the first half. "Finally," Scott said. "I was in a little shooting slump. I just kept being aggressive and kept gettingg extra shots and they finally fell. Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 Uomo/Donne Solar Rosse Scarpe. " The Hawks set a season high with 39 first-quarter points, made 58.5 per cent of their shots from the field and never trailed. Atlanta led 39-23 after the first period. "The start that we got off to was something that was important," Budenholzer said. "Defensively, I thought we had a good first quarter. I think that kind of fueled our offence and our ball movement a little bit, taking care of the ball. That gave us the cushion that we were able to keep the rest of the game." The Hawks had 35 assists, three away from their season high. The Cavaliers made only 5 of 21 3-pointers and shot 39.6 per cent from the field overall while playing from behind the full game. "They jumped on us early," said Clevelands Jarrett Jack, who had nine points. "They dictated how this game was going to be played. We were playing an uphill battle all game." The Hawks had six 3-pointers in the big first quarter and 13 for the game. Atlanta committed nine turnovers in the second quarter, but Cleveland still outscored the Hawks only 26-22 in the period and trailed 61-49 at halftime. As Cleveland opened the second half going almost five minutes without a field goal, Teague took over for Atlanta. Teague had nine points in the third period, including three straight baskets and a driving layup to beat the buzzer at the end of the period. Teague added two 3-pointers in the last 3 minutes as the Cavaliers never mounted a serious challenge. Paul Millsap had 16 points, 11 rebounds and six assists for the Hawks. Lou Williams also had 16 points and six assists. NOTES: The Hawks completed a sweep of the three-game series. ... After missing one game with a sore right shoulder, Cavs C Anderson Varejao had nine points and five rebounds in 27 minutes. ... Lions swept them for the tiebreaker,

LAKE FOREST, Ill. Shaq Thompson Jersey . -- Quarterback Jay Cutler looks just about ready to play for the Chicago Bears. For linebacker Lance Briggs, the wait might go on. Coach Marc Trestman is optimistic Cutler will return from an ankle injury this week against the Cleveland Browns. He was set to work with the receivers after Wednesdays walkthrough, and Trestman said the Bears will know Thursday if hes ready to start. "Were not going to let it hang through the week," he said. "The starter tomorrow has got to get the work. So well make that decision tomorrow." Cutler has missed the past four games with a high left ankle sprain and also sat out one with a groin injury. Veteran Josh McCown has played well in his place, but the Bears have repeatedly said they will go with Cutler once hes ready. Briggs, meanwhile, has missed the past six games because of a broken shoulder, and the odds that hell suit up against the Browns appear slim. Briggs return would be a huge lift for an injury-ravaged defence that cant stop the run. He was expected to sit out about six weeks after he was injured against Washington on Oct. 20, but the recovery has stretched longer. The Bears clearly miss him. Their defence ranks 27th overall and last against the run, and theyve allowed 198 yards rushing or more in five of the past seven games. "Its not just the intangibles that he brings in terms of leadership and experience and things like that, in confidence," defensive co-ordinator Mel Tucker said. "But he can actually make plays. He can win one-on-one; he can get off blocks. He can run sideline to sideline. He can win one-on-one on running backs on blitzes and things like that. Hes an excellent blitzer. "In the pass game, hes quick, very instinctive. Hes quick to diagnose and because of ... his experience, theres not a whole lot of plays he hasnt seen at some point in time." Whether the Bears have missed Cutler is open to debate, the way McCown is playing. With a 109.8 rating in seven games, McCown trails only Philadelphias Nick Foles (120) and Denvers Peyton Manning (114.5), and his performance in Mondays romp over Dallas might have been his best yet. He became the first player in franchise history with three straight 300-yard passing games, throwing for 348 yards and a career-high four touchdowns. He also ran for one, getting spun like a helicopter as he leaped into the end zone, and the Bears scored on their first eight possessions to jump back into the playoff race. Theyre tied with Detroit for the NFC North lead at 7-6, although the Lions swept them for the tiebreaker, and there have been some calls for the Bears to stick with the hot hand at quarterback. After all, McCown has thrown for more than 1,800 yards and completed nearly 67 per cent of his passes. He has 13 touchdowns and just one interception, but Cutlers numbers arent shabby, either. Hes thrown for just over 1,900 yards, and his 88.4 rating is the highest since he arrived from Denver before the 2009 season. The message the past few weeks has been consistent. Trestman and McCown have repeatedly said Cutler will start when hes ready. It could be this week. Star Lotulelei Youth Jersey . Parker scored 25 points and Duncan had 16 points and 13 rebounds, and San Antonio never trailed, cruising past the Dallas Mavericks 112-90 Wednesday night. Both teams were on the second night of a back-to-back, with San Antonio winning in overtime at Memphis and the Mavericks topping the Los Angeles Lakers in Dallas. Shaq Thompson Panthers Jersey . Marchand remained in the game.  Neal was assessed a kneeing penalty for his hit on Marchand.Boston, MA (SportsNetwork.com) - Boston Bruins defenseman Adam McQuaid is in line to miss another 2-3 weeks with a nagging quad injury. The 27-year-old has missed a combined 30 games to injury heading into the Bruins game against the Washington Capitals on Thursday. An injury to the quad has kept him out of the lineup since Jan. 19. He had finally resumed skating and was very close tto a return after the Olympic Break before re-aggravating it. Kurt Coleman Youth Jersey. beat up pretty bad from that point on

ATLANTA -- Ho hum, another winning season for the Atlanta Falcons. Logan Paulsen Redskins Jersey . Thats not such a big deal anymore. This team has much higher goals. Putting together its most complete effort of the season, the Falcons clinched a fourth straight winning record with a 41-14 rout of the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday night. Matt Ryan had another big game, throwing three touchdown passes in less than three quarters of work, and John Abraham terrorized rookie quarterback Blaine Gabbert with 3 1/2 sacks. Atlanta (9-5) strengthened its hold on an NFC wild card, shrugging off the immediate accomplishment of another above-.500 finish. "Our expectations are much higher than winning seasons," coach Mike Smith said. "Im glad weve been able to accomplish that as an organization and a football team. But believe me, Its not one of those expectations we really want to talk about. If were where we think we are as an organization and a football team, thats expected each and every year." It wasnt so long ago that nine wins was a big deal. The Falcons went through the first 42 years of their existence without so much as back-to-back winning seasons. All that changed when Smith and general manager Thomas Dimitroff took over in 2008. Since then, Atlanta has been to the playoff two times and is closing in on a third appearance. "I cant speak to the people who came before, but I know since Thomas and I had the opportunity to be here, weve just kind of put our heads down and gone to work," Smith said. "When you do that, good things usually happen. We are not finished, believe me. Our expectations and internal goals are much higher than having a winning football season." This one was over by halftime. Atlanta led 27-0 when the teams trotted to the locker-room, Gabbert and the shellshocked Jaguars (4-10) saddled with a net passing total of minus-1 yard. Atlanta stretched out its lead to 41-0 before Jacksonville scored on a blocked punt. Going back to the previous week, when the Falcons overcame a 16-point halftime deficit at Carolina, they ripped off 65 points in a row over five quarters. Now thats more like it from a team that was projected as a Super Bowl contender but had not quite lived up to expectations. "I feel like weve hit our stride," said Roddy White, who had 10 catches for 135 yards and became just the eighth receiver in NFL history with 80 receptions and 1,000 yards in five straight seasons. Gabbert had one of his worst games in a miserable rookie season, coughing up the ball twice on hits by Abraham. Both fumbles led to Atlanta scores, with defensive tackle Corey Peters scooping up the second one and trotting to the end zone early in the third quarter for a touchdown that ended any thought of the Jaguars getting back in the game. "It wasnt just me," said Abraham, who came into the game with only five sacks on the season. "The whole team was able to get to the quarterback." Ryan was 19 of 26 for 224 yards and three touchdowns, with a season-high rating of 137.3. White caught two of the scoring passes, Julio Jones the other. Gabbert was 12 of 22 for 141 yards, also throwing an interception during a truly awful night full of bad decisions when he wasnt running for his life. He was sacked five times and got most of his yards on a meaningless final drive, which resulted in the only offensive touchdown of the night: a 16-yard pass to Chastin West with 59 seconds remaining. "It wasnt our best night," Gabbert said. "Weve just got to learn from it, take the positives out of it and just get better." The injury-riddled Jaguars, playing out the season with an interim coach and a new owner, were coming off their best performance, having scored 41 straight points in a 41-14 victory over Tampa Bay. But, playing for the third time in 11 days, they couldnt build any momentum for a strong finish. Shahid Khan must have been wondering why he paid an estimated US$760 million to buy the team from original Jaguars owner Wayne Weaver, a deal that was unanimously approved by NFL owners a day earlier. "Youve just got to keep fighting," Gabbert said. "Things didnt go our way early, but what can you do? Its football." On the first snap of the game, Michael Turner burst off left guard for 15 yards, and the Falcons were off and running. Ryan capped the opening drive by stepping up to avoid the pressure, flipping a short pass to Jones, then watching the rookie turn on an impressive burst of speed for a 29-yard touchdown. Gabbert got an idea of what hed be up against on his first snap: Abraham shrugged off a blocker and threw the quarterback for a 10-yard loss. The rookie finally completed a pass on the final play of the opening quarter, but Sean Weatherspoon sniffed out the screen and slammed Marcedes Lewis for a four-yard loss. Matt Bryant kicked a 33-yard field goal that made it 10-0, then another brutal mistake by the Jaguars early in the second quarter helped turn this one into a rout. Jarrett Dillard let a punt slip right through his hands, and Weatherspoon fell on it at the Jacksonville five-yard line. The next play, Turner rumbled into the end zone standing to make it 17-0. The Falcons werent done, not by a long shot. Ryan capped a nine-play, 72-yard by hooking up with White in the back on the end zone on a six-yard touchdown, a pass that Tony Gonzalez was nearly in position to catch as well. Now down 24-0, the Jaguars couldnt even get off the field without turning it over again. Abraham popped the ball loose from Gabbert, and after a wild scramble Curtis Lofton finally fell on it at the Jacksonville 19. That set up Bryants second field goal, a 31-yarder on the final play of the half. "Ive just got to get rid of the ball," Gabbert said. "I cant take those sacks and those fumbles. Thats completely on me." NOTES: Jacksonville had negative net yards passing most of the game and finished with just 91, actually lowering what was already the NFLs worst passing average. ... Jones finished with five catches for 85 yards. ... Jacksonvilles Maurice Jones-Drew, the NFLs leading rusher, had 112 yards on 17 carries. David Amerson Jersey . The Nuggets leading scorer, Lawson is characterized as day to day by the team. Hes averaging 17.9 points and 8.9 assists. Lawson suffered the injury late in Denvers win Sunday at Sacramento. Darrell Green Redskins Jersey . If one fighter gases, he usually gets beat up pretty bad from that point on.Washington, DC (SportsNetwork.com) - Jarrett Jack stuffed the stat sheet and Brook Lopez shook off trade rumors and scored 26 points as the Brooklyn Nets stunned the Washington Wizards, 102-80, in the opener of a home-and-home series. Jack led Brooklyn with 26 points, seven assists and six rebounds while Lopez, who has been the topic of trade speculation this week, gave 26 in just 23 minutes off the bench. Multiple media outlets have reported discussed deals that would send Lopez, who has spent his entire career in Brooklyn, to either Charlotte or Oklahoma City. We all just tried to be aggressive, said Lopez. We tried to not let the ball stick, move the ball. Each of us took advantage of what they were doing. Mason Plumlee finished with 11 points and 10 rebounds for his fourth double- double in the last six games. The Nets snapped a seven-game losing skid. John Wall had 13 points and six assists for Washington, winners in five of its last six games. Kris Humphries addded 12 and a team-high eight boards off the bench. Charley Taylor Jersey. Energy, focus. We didnt approach this opponent the right way, said Humphries. The Wizards ended the first on a 9-0 run and led 24-18 after one quarter. It was all Brooklyn the rest of the way. The Nets ran off seven straight to open the second. It was tied late in the quarter when Plumlees three-point play put Brooklyn back in front. Jacks floater before the buzzer sent the Nets into halftime with a 43-40 lead. A 12-1 run midway through the third, capped by two Lopez free throws, gave the Nets a double-digit advantage. The lead grew to 15 points on a Jack layup late in the stanza. The Nets won all three of the final quarters by at least nine points. Game Notes The two teams play again in Brooklyn on Saturday ... Bojan Bogdanovic scored 12 for Brooklyn ... Washington had 19 turnovers to Brooklyns 10 ... Both teams scored 10 points in transition. Cheap Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys Cheap Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap Jerseys China Wholesale Jerseys ' ' '

one in the first and two in the second

SAN DIEGO -- Bronson Arroyo figures the Arizona Diamondbacks rotten start has got to turn around at some point. Adidas Adicolor Blancas . "I mean, I dont think well play 9-22 every 31 games," Arroyo said after he and two relievers combined to hold the punchless San Diego Padres to three hits in a 2-0 victory Friday night in a matchup of the bottom two teams in the NL West. Aaron Hill provided Arroyo with all the backing he needed with a two-run single off Andrew Cashner in the third inning. "We put ourselves in a huge hole, especially in this division with two teams that are pretty potent, so its going to be a long season no matter how you cut it because were going to fighting uphill the whole way," Arroyo said. "Who knows where its going to end up." The Diamondbacks finally hit double digits in wins, but still have the worst record in the majors -- 10-22. They came in with the worst ERA, 5.20. The Padres came with a .217 batting average, worst in the NL and second-worst in the majors. It was the first shutout for the Diamondbacks. The Padres were shut out for the fifth time, tying them with Atlanta for the big league lead. But the 37-year-old Arroyo, in his 15th big league season, was sharp. Arroyo (2-2) allowed three singles in seven innings, struck out six and walked one. He is 4-0 with a 1.54 ERA in his last five starts against San Diego. He didnt allow a hit until Yonder Alonso singled to right with one out in the fifth. Until then, the only baserunner was leadoff batter Everth Cabrera, who reached in the first when Arroyo couldnt handle a chopper for an error. Arroyo then proceeded to get 13 straight outs, including when Seth Smith grounded into an inning-ending double play in the first. "They ran a lot of lefties at me as usual and I got the chance to take advantage of their aggressiveness in the outer half," Arroyo said. "They hit a lot of ground balls to second base. I had a little more zip tonight. I felt a little bit better. It makes a difference for me when I can get the ball up there 88, 89. Once in a while, make them respect some of my other stuff a bit more." Padres starter Andrew Cashner had a bad third inning. He loaded the bases on a single and two walks, and then allowed Hills two-run single to left with two outs. "It was nice to have a smooth one from front to back," Arroyo said. "Get a couple of runs off a tough pitcher and be able to hold the lead was definitely the way you want to start a road trip." Arizonas Kirk Gibson, who won his 300th game as manager, said Arroyo "has been trending toward throwing the ball better and better, and it was the best stuff hes had all year tonight. We saw it from all arm slots; keeping the ball down when he wanted the ball down. I think he hit 90 mph one time." Padres manager Bud Black said Arroyo "has been doing it for a long time. He got back to the form that made him tough." San Diegos Alexi Amarista reached third with two outs in the fifth before being stranded when rookie Jace Peterson grounded out. The Padres had runners on the corners with two outs in the seventh before Peterson again grounded out. Addison Reed pitched the ninth for his seventh save in eight chances. Cashner (2-4) allowed two runs and four hits in six innings, struck out one and walked three. "I didnt think I did a very good job of a lot of stuff," Cashner said. "But I felt like I kept the team in the game, gave us a chance to win. The spot with the bases loaded, I cant hang a slider." NOTES: Arizonas Ender Inciarte, recalled from Triple-A on Wednesday, singled to left in the ninth for his first big league hit. He made his first start, in CF. ... Padres LF Carlos Quentin, who started the season on the disabled list with a bone bruise in his left knee, is scheduled to begin a rehab assignment Saturday for Class AA Lake Elsinore at Inland Empire. RHP Casey Kelly, who missed all of last season while rehabbing from reconstructive elbow surgery, will start that game as he also begins a rehab assignment. It will be his first competition since 2012. Adidas Superstar Russian Bloom Print Zapatos Floral Negras Oro Mujer .com) - The Memphis Grizzlies will try to close out a four-game homestand on a high note when they entertain the Charlotte Hornets Friday night at FedExForum. Adidas Superstar Adicolor .C. -- Phil Mickelson spent five hours in the stifling heat Tuesday at Pinehurst No.OAKLAND, Calif. - Oakland needed a big hit in the 10th inning against Philadelphia. Fortunately for the Athletics, they had Josh Donaldson at the plate. Donaldson hit a two-run homer to lift the As to an 8-6 victory over the Phillies on Sunday. "Those are the moments I always want to be in," Donaldson said after his third game-ending homer of the year, matching, among others, Hall of Famer Reggie Jackson for the franchise mark in a season. Nate Freiman singled with one out against Miguel Gonzalez (0-1) before Donaldson hit a towering drive into the left-field bleachers for his 28th homer. "Hes a tough customer in big at-bats," As manager Bob Melvin said. "He embraces it." Sean Doolittle (2-4) pitched two innings for the victory, striking out four. It was the closers longest outing since he recorded four outs at Seattle on July 13. Geovany Soto drove in three runs for the As, who have won two of three to remain atop the AL wild-card race. Marlon Byrd drove in three runs for the Phillies, who have lost six of eight. As starter Scott Kazmir was charged with six runs and 11 hits in 5 1-3 innings. Since Aug. 3, Kazmir has an ERA of 6.67. It was at 2.37 through July. A.J. Burnett lasted just 4 1-3 innings for Philadelphia. He walked six and allowed six runs and three hits. Burnett also struck out three, moving him past Charlie Hough for 43rd on the career list with 2,363. Sandy Koufax is next at 2,396. "I didnt get anything done today, man. Its very frustrating," Burnett said. "I didnt make any pitches from the get-go. Its embarrassing." Byrd drove in Philadelphias first three runs, one in the first and two in the second, each with a double. Freddy Galvis, Carlos Ruiz and Ben Revere also drove in runs for the Phillies. Soto recorded his first three-RBI game sincce July 30 of last year, walking with the bases loaded in the third and doubling home two runs in the fifth. Nike Roshe LD-1000 SP Fragment Zapatos Hombre Negras/fluorescentes Verdes . Melvin added "with eight games left, theres always that possibility" hell miss the rest of the season. "Same thing, obviously with Jaso," he said. ... The Florida Panthers will not be loaning Aleksander Barkov to the Finnish team at the 2014 World Junior Hockey Championship. Zapatillas Nike Air Max 90 Mujer Blancas . "Theres no way hes going anywhere but here," Panthers GM Dale Tallon told the Miami Heralds George Richards. "We have to let him grow. Hes a big part of our future and our present." Barkov - the second overall pick at the 2013 NHL Draft - has appeared in each of the Panthers 28 games this season, scoring four goals and six assists. The 18-year-old suited up for the 2013 Finnish World Junior team, scoring three goals and four assists in six games. Finland finished seventh at the 2013 tournament, going 1-2-1 in Group A, missing the medal round behind first place Sweden, second-place Czech Republic and Switzerland. They would dominate the relegation round, beating Germany 8-0 and crushing Slovakia by an 11-4 score. http://www.airmax90blancas.es/nike-air-max-90-american-flag-independence-day-hombre-mujer-gris-naranja-training-zapatos-372.html . -- James Harden scored 31 points, including 25 in the second half, and the Houston Rockets dug out of a double-digit, first-half hole to beat the Orlando Magic 101-89 on Wednesday night. Nike Air Max 90 Usa Flag . On Friday night, Kuznetsov began compiling the North American version of his greatest hits -- posting three assists for his first NHL points in the Capitals 4-3 win over the Vancouver Canucks.OAKLAND, Calif. -- Golden State Warriors co-owner Joe Lacob has never been afraid to take a risk. And he knows his latest move -- firing coach Mark Jackson -- comes with a lot of risk. Lacob just believes its one worth taking. After jettisoning Jackson on Tuesday, Lacob and general manager Bob Myers moved forward on filling the teams coaching vacancy Wednesday. Lacob said he has no set criteria for his next coach and no timetable to make the hire, but hes counting on the search to attract more candidates -- and more top-tier talent -- than when he hired Jackson three years ago. "We do have some ideas of what we want to do," Lacob said in a phone interview with The Associated Press. "We will look at all the basic aspects such as basketball experience, and I dont mean coaching necessarily. Someone like Mark Jackson had played 17 years in the NBA, thats a lot of experience. In this case it might be more coaching experience, it might not. Were kind of open to that. "But it has to be someone with good pedigree, someone whos a leader, someone who can deal with the pressure of a situation. We have been somewhat successful now and want to go to the next level." The job is certainly a far more attractive one than when Lacob hired Jackson away from the ESPN/ABC broadcast table in June 2011. The Warriors are coming off a 51-win season and consecutive playoff appearances for the first time in 20 years, and theyve surrounded star Stephen Curry with young talent. Lacob compared the decision to change coaches to how he built his fortune as a venture capitalist in Silicon Valley. He said theres a different person to lead a business at different stages of development, and the Warriors have gone from a "startup" company to an organization looking to maximize its output. "Or in this case win an NBA championship," he said. "And we just felt overall we needed a different person to go forward and get to the next level." Where the Warriors go for their next coach is unclear. Lacob and Myers both declined to discuss specific candidates. Former NBA player and current TNT broadcaaster Steve Kerr, who is also a candidate for the New York Knicks job, has close ties to Lacob and Warriors President Rick Welts from Kerrs time as the general manager for the Phoenix Suns.http://www.airmax90blancas.es/nike-air-max-lunar-90-jacquard-claro-ash-grises-blk-blk-pht-bl-hombre-zapatillas-378.html. Former Orlando Magic coach Stan Van Gundy, who went to high school in nearby Martinez, California, has been mentioned for multiple openings the past few years but has yet to show a desire to go back to the bench. If the Warriors look to the college ranks, Iowa States Fred Hoiberg and Connecticuts Kevin Ollie are rising stars in the profession. Lacob, who insisted NBA coaching experience is not a requirement, could also try to make a splash by luring a more tenured coach such as Michigan States Tom Izzo to the professional ranks. Or, as was the case with Jackson, make another unconventional hire. The one thing Lacob is banking on is he should have a more wide-ranging field than when he made his first coaching hire as owner. Among the coaches the Warriors reached out to during that search: Jackson, Michael Malone, Mike Brown, Brian Shaw, Dwane Casey, Jeff Van Gundy and Mike Budenholzer. "We think this is a very attractive job," Lacob said. "Compared to three years ago, we have an outstanding organization. Three years ago, not only was the team not winning, but the organization needed a lot of work." Lacob also understands a new coach comes with the risk of disrupting team chemistry. Nearly every player publicly called for Jackson to return -- most notably Curry, whom Lacob said was told of the decision ahead of time. Lacob said he hopes his ownership group has built enough clout with players and fans since it bought the franchise in 2010 that they will have faith in the decisions management makes. "I think they have the same goals as us -- to win and to achieve a high level of success," Lacob said. "And I think they have to trust us a little bit, that we have the same goals and were going to do everything we can to bring in the best coach possible and will manage the attributes of each player in a way that will allow us to win as many games as possible." Cheap Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys Cheap Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap Jerseys China Wholesale Jerseys ' ' '

behind going into the third quarter.

Some of us are morning people while others are night owls. Niles Paul Jersey . In golf some are early season performers and others wait until the fall. So far in his career, David Hearn is most definitely not someone who enjoys the early part of the calendar. At least not when it comes to logging high finishes. "For whatever reason, Ive never had much success early in the year," said Hearn. "The West Coast  just hasnt been good for me." In the four tournaments hes played since the calendar changed years, Hearn as two missed cuts, a T58 and a T38. Its a slow but not unexpected beginning. A year ago, in five West Coast starts, he missed three cuts. A year prior to that, he posted a tie for 10th at the SONY in Hawaii before missing the next two cuts. "Id like to be in a better spot, obviously," said Hearn from Florida where he was getting in some practice before heading to Los Angeles for his next start. "Hopefully that will happen at Riviera." Hearn isnt worried about his spot on the money list just yet. In fact, hes quite optimistic about where things are headed. He says his game is coming together faster than in any previous years, adding theres no glaring holes in his performance - its just a matter of tightening everything up. There hasnt been much down time for the Brantford, Ont., product of late. He played four times before Christmas on the new wrap-around schedule and then teamed with Brad Fritsch to represent Canada in the World Cup in Australia in late November. There was a little time spent at the TaylorMade test centre dialing in his new gear as well as some family time back in the snow in Ontario. And he made the trek to Ann Arbor, Mich., to watch his beloved Toronto Maple Leafs play the Detroit Red Wings outdoors at the Big House. But shortly after, it was back to work. Hearn enjoyed his best year as a professional in 2013, earning more than $1.1 million. The highlight of his season came at the John Deere Classic where he lost in a playoff. That performance didnt surprise him in any way; he always believed he had the talent to play at that level. And it provided a taste of what hed like to experience more often. "Thats what Im trying to accomplish each and every week," he said. "You just want to put yourself in that position as much as you can." Rather than being known as a long driver or a pure ball-striker or a great putter, Hearns strength has always been his consistency with every club in his bag, his all-around game. Its something hes been focused on in the early part of this season. "My stats are not that great but if I can just improve the numbers a little bit Ill be happy," said Hearn, who will continue to use his long putter this season. "It really just boils down to being competitive. Im always trying to improve." Hearn has always been an ardent flag-waver and senses an up-tick in the play of Canadian professionals on various tours. He thinks some of that is awareness caused by his best friend out on tour. "I think Canadians are getting highlighted and inspired thanks to how well Graham [DeLaet] is playing," he stated. "Its fun to watch him play these days. It doesnt seem to matter what he does on Thursday and Friday, he just finds a way to get into contention on the weekend." For Canadian golf, Hearn said, that builds momentum. Its something thats been missing for a while, since the days Mike Weir was seemingly in the hunt to win every week. "When Mike was in his prime, I dont think people realized how good he was," Hearn stated. "It wasnt just the Masters win, it was major after major, week after week, he was in contention. "That definitely inspired me and I think thats happening again. We have a lot of good players right now." For the next couple of weeks, Hearn will be in the cheering section, watching Canadas athletes at the Winter Olympics in Sochi. Obviously hockey will be at the forefront of his viewing schedule but he also said hell follow almost any sport and is amazed at such endeavours as biathlon. "It will be disappointing being in the U.S., though," he laughed. "Ill have to watch mostly U.S. athletes." If his play continues to improve, two years from Hearn might be representing Canada at the Olympics in Rio rather than watching from a distance. Adam Hayward Redskins Jersey . -- As Louisville strives to reach the high level of performance and consistency achieved by last years championship squad, the Cardinals also know that getting there will take time with a bunch of new faces. John Riggins Jersey . On the next play, Mason Plumlees pass to Willie Reed slipped through his hands, sending the game into overtime.Coach Lionel Hollins credited Deron Williams for getting us revved up and in rhythm after the Nets fell behind going into the third quarter. And then everybody picked up their energy and then we started pushing the ball and scoring. They couldnt stop us, Hollins said. Im proud of the way the young guys played. Im proud of the way our team competed. They are growing in that area of competitiveness and toughness and trying to wear down the other team.Plumlee scored 18 points off the bench and centre Brook Lopez added 16. Ben McLemore led the Kings with 22 points. Both teams rested some key players to keep them fresh and healthy for the final preseason games back in the U.S, with Hollins keeping out Kevin Garnett and the Kings DeMarcus Cousins sitting with a sore Achilles.Teletovic has been the star of the China tour, sinking a 3-pointeer with less than a minute left to seal the 97-95 win over the Kings on Sunday in Shanghai. Charles Mann Jersey. We did some good things offensively, Kings coach Mike Malone said. We competed. We played hard, but we just have to do a much better job on defence to have a chance to win in the very difficult Western Conference. The game was played at the Mastercard Center in western Beijing built to host the 2008 Olympic basketball tournament won by the United States. Celebrity guests included Shaquille ONeil and Yao Ming, both of whom drew huge cheers when appearing courtside. This year marks a decade since the first NBA exhibition games in China, part of an effort to build the leagues brand while giving teams a chance to bond and experience a different culture.China has grown increasingly important to the NBA as it sees its international revenues nearing its domestic ones. The NBA boasts 70 million followers on Chinas popular microblogging platforms, largely drawn from the 300 million Chinese who play basketball. The leagues China revenues have soared past $100 million annually with sales of merchandise and licensing agreements.
